This is what your average living room probably looked like when Alan Teece founded TW Electronics in 1978. The business was created to supply replacement parts for the TV and later video repair market.
The company grew steadily through the 1980's and 1990's and the owners of the business have always sought to fund growth from retained reserves generated by the business. TW Electronics today is operating on an annual turnover of £ 5 million with healthy cash reserves which allow investment in new business opportunities.
During the last 8 years the company has diversified significantly with the creation of several distinct core business areas —replacement components, OEM components and fulfilment services.
Today TW Electronics is based on a 2 acre green field site on the outskirts of Newbury, Berkshire. Our facilities were recently upgraded with the building of a purpose built 8,000 sq feet warehouse.
